EDITOR, RIPM Jazz Periodicals

JOHN EHRENBURG joined RIPM in 2017 and now serves as Editor of RIPM Jazz Periodicals. He has given papers and presentations at conferences of the Jazz Education Network, Documenting Jazz, and the International Association of Music Libraries, Archives, and Documentation Centres (IAML). Dr. Ehrenburg previously held faculty positions at the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University and Frostburg State University. He studied at the Peabody Institute and Yale University, and holds degrees in music education, trumpet performance, and musicology. An accomplished trumpeter, he has concertized throughout the United States and Europe.
